Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Monday, there have been 25,085,685 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 843,927 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 186,379 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 6,122,328 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Monday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 3,862,311 with 120,828 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 3,621,245 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 64,469.

Russia has confirmed 992,402 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 17,128.

Peru has reported 639,435 COVID-19 cases and 28,607 deaths from the virus so far.

South Africa has recorded 625,056 confirmed cases and 14,028 deaths.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 607,904, with the number of deaths at 19,363, according to the JHU virus tracker.

It is followed by Mexico with 64,158 deaths from 595,841 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 29,011 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 439,286.

A total of 409,974 people in Chile have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 11,244.
