The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 4,276,584 with the global confirmed cases reaching 201,655,709 as of 9:30 am BJT on Saturday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 616,478 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 35,692,078 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 31,856,757 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 426,754.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 20,108,746 with 561,762 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 112,344 lives in France, bringing the total number of infections to 6,324,349.
Russia has recorded 6,318,643 confirmed cases and 160,574 deaths.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 6,042,462, with the number of deaths at 130,482, according to the JHU virus tracker.
Turkey has confirmed 5,870,741 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 51,976.
It is followed by Argentina with 107,213 deaths from 5,002,951 infections.
Colombia has reported 4,828,583 COVID-19 cases and 122,087 deaths from the virus so far.
A total of 4,588,132 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 82,006.
