Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Sunday, there have been 21,026,758 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 755,786 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 171,866 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 5,469,593 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Sunday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 3,317,096 with 107,232 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 2,526,192 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 49,036.

Russia has confirmed 915,808 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 15,585.

South Africa has recorded 583,653 confirmed cases and 11,677 deaths.

It is followed by Mexico with 56,543 deaths from 517,714 infections.

Peru has reported 516,296 COVID-19 cases and 25,856 deaths from the virus so far.

The Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 445,111, with the number of deaths at 14,492, according to the JHU virus tracker.

A total of 383,902 people in Chile have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 10,395.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 28,617 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 342,813.
