The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 4,425,926 with the global confirmed cases reaching 211,467,135 as of 7:00 pm BJT on Sunday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 628,342 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 37,678,029 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 32,424,234 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 434,367.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 20,556,487 with 574,209 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 6,682,952 confirmed cases and 113,472 deaths.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 173,003 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 6,653,498.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 6,491,529 with the number of deaths at 131,909, according to the JHU virus tracker.
Turkey has confirmed 6,197,011 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 54,327.
It is followed by Argentina with 110,217 deaths from 5,130,852 infections.
Colombia has reported 4,886,897 COVID-19 cases and 124,121 deaths from the virus so far.
A total of 4,770,453 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 83,136.
