The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 4,294,608 with the global confirmed cases reaching 202,756,183 as of 5:00 pm BJT on Monday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 616,829 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 35,764,022 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 31,969,954 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 428,309.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 20,165,672 with 563,151 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 6,371,349 confirmed cases and 112,407 deaths.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 162,109 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 6,362,641.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 6,098,117 with the number of deaths at 130,630, according to the JHU virus tracker.
Turkey has confirmed 5,895,841 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 52,088.
It is followed by Argentina with 107,459 deaths from 5,018,895 infections.
Colombia has reported 4,838,984 COVID-19 cases and 122,458 deaths from the virus so far.
A total of 4,588,132 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 82,006.
