Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday, there have been 75,704,857 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,690,061 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 323,960 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 18,322,063 infections, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,055,560 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 145,810.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 7,263,619 with 187,291deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 2,850,042 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 50,723.

France has recorded 2,535,716 confirmed cases and 61,019 deaths.

The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 2,079,678, with the number of deaths at 67,718, according to the JHU virus tracker.

It is followed by Turkey with 18,351 deaths from 2,043,704 infections.

A total of 1,964,054 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 69,214.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 49,260 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 1,819,249.

Argentina has reported 1,547,138 COVID-19 cases and 41,997 deaths from the virus so far.
