Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Monday, there have been 79,232,555 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,754,493 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 338,352 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 19,430,496 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Monday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,187,850 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 147,622.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 7,484,285 with 191,139 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 3,019,972 confirmed cases and 54,080 deaths.

France has confirmed 2,616,510 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 62,867.

The UK has reported 2,295,228 COVID-19 cases and 70,860 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Turkey with 19,878 deaths from 2,147,578 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 71,925 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,047,696.

A total of 1,854,951 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 49,824.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 1,658,637, with the number of deaths at 30,033, according to the JHU virus tracker.
