Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Thursday, there have been 80,773,033 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,783,619 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 347,254 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 20,093,242 ns, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Thursday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,244,852 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 148,439.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 7,619,200 with 193,875 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 3,100,018 confirmed cases and 55,692 deaths.

France has confirmed 2,657,624 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 64,508.

The UK has reported 2,440,202 COVID-19 cases and 72,657 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Turkey with 20,642 deaths from 2,194,272 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 73,604 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,083,689.

A total of 1,910,218 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 50,689.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 1,719,912, with the number of deaths at 32,665, according to the JHU virus tracker.
