Globally, as of 3:02pm CET, Saturday, there have been 65,257,767 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 1,513,179 deaths, reported to WHO.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 281,121 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 14,570,912, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 9:26 am BJT on Sunday.

India has confirmed a total number of infections to 9,608,211. The death toll grew to 139,700.

Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 6,577,177. The death toll grew to 176,628.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Russia have increased to 2,410,462 with 42,228 deaths.

It is followed by France with 2,334,626 infections and 55,073 deaths, United Kingdom with 1,710,379 infections and 61,111 deaths, Italy with 1,709,991 cases and 59,514 deaths, Spain with 1,684,647 cases and 46,252 deaths and Argentina with 1,459,832 cases and 39,632 deaths.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Colombia have increased to 1,362,249 with 37,633 deaths.
