Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Monday, there have been 65,870,030 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,523,583 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 286,902 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 14,993,870 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Monday.

India has confirmed a total of 9,644,222 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 140,182.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 6,603,540 with 176,941 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 2,439,163 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 42,675.

France has recorded 2,345,648 confirmed cases and 55,247 deaths.

It is followed by Italy with 60,078 deaths from 1,728,878 infections.

The UK has reported 1,727,751 COVID-19 cases and 61,342 deaths from the virus so far.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 46,252 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 1,684,647.

A total of 1,463,110 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 39,770.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 1,371,103, with the number of deaths at 37,808, according to the JHU virus tracker.
