Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday, there have been 66,422,058 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,532,418 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 288,170 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 15,171,033 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 9,677,203 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 140,573.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 6,623,911 with 177,317 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 2,466,961 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 43,122.

France has recorded 2,349,059 confirmed cases and 55,613 deaths.

It is followed by Italy with 60,606 deaths from 1,742,557 infections.

The UK has reported 1,742,524 COVID-19 cases and 61,531 deaths from the virus so far.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 46,646 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 1,702,328.

A total of 1,466,309 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 39,888.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 1,377,101, with the number of deaths at 37,995, according to the JHU virus tracker.
