Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Saturday, there have been 110,224,709 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,441,901 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 502,937 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 28,438,873 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Saturday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,977,387 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 156,212.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 10,084,208 with 244,737 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

The UK has reported 4,107,286 COVID-19 cases and 120,147 deaths from the virus so far.

Russia has recorded 4,105,424 confirmed cases and 81,517 deaths.

France has confirmed 3,596,167 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 83,543.

A total of 3,133,122 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 67,101.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 95,235 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,780,882.

It is followed by Turkey with 27,903 deaths from 2,624,019 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,386,048, with the number of deaths at 67,741, according to the JHU virus tracker.
