Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Saturday, there have been 104,370,550 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,271,180 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 465,920 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 27,244,687 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Saturday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,814,304 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 154,918.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 9,447,165 with 230,034 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

The UK has reported 3,922,910 COVID-19 cases and 111,477 deaths from the virus so far.

Russia has recorded 3,907,653 confirmed cases and 75,010 deaths.

France has confirmed 3,355,678 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 78,749.

A total of 2,941,990 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 61,386.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 90,618 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,611,659.

It is followed by Turkey with 26,577 deaths from 2,516,889 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,282,684, with the number of deaths at 61,324, according to the JHU virus tracker.
