The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 2,394,346 with the global confirmed cases reaching 108,565,661 as of 5:20 pm BJT on Sunday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 484,248 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 27,575,344, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 5:20 pm BJT on Sunday.
India has confirmed a total number of infections to 10,904,940. The death toll grew to 155,642.
Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 9,809,754. The death toll grew to 238,532.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in UK have increased to 4,038,929 with 117,128 deaths.
It is followed by Russia with 4,026,506 infections and 78,825 deaths, France with 3,467,051 infections and 80,955 deaths, Spain with 3,056,035 cases and 64,747 deaths, Italy with 2,710,819 cases and 93,356 deaths and Turkey with 2,579,896 cases and 27,377 deaths.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany have increased to 2,341,320 with 64,990 deaths.
