The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 2,515,869 with the global confirmed cases reaching 113,372,398 as of 10:00 am BJT on Saturday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 510,306 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 28,481,239 infections, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 10:00 am BJT on Saturday.

India has confirmed a total of 11,063,491 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 156,825.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 10,455,630 with 252,835 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 4,175,757 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 83,900.

The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,175,315, with the number of deaths at 122,648, according to the JHU virus tracker.

France has recorded 3,746,707 confirmed cases and 85,738 deaths.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 69,142 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 3,188,553.

A total of 2,888,923 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 97,227.

It is followed by Turkey with 28,432 deaths from 2,683,971 infections.

Germany has reported 2,436,506 COVID-19 cases and 69,750 deaths from the virus so far.
