Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Friday, there have been 81,475,053 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,798,050 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 350,023 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 20,293,125 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Friday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,266,674 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 148,738.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 7,675,973 with 194,949 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 3,127,347 confirmed cases and 56,271 deaths.

France has confirmed 2,677,666 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 64,759.

The UK has reported 2,496,214 COVID-19 cases and 73,622 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Turkey with 20,881 deaths from 2,208,652 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 74,159 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,107,166.

A total of 1,928,265 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 50,837.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 1,745,636, with the number of deaths at 33,495, according to the JHU virus tracker.
