Globally, as of 10:30 am BJT on Monday, there have been 88,383,771 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,919,126 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 379,056 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 22,702,968 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10:30 am BJT on Monday.

India has confirmed a total of 10,450,284 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 150,999.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 8,105,790 with 203,100 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 3,366,715 confirmed cases and 60,963 deaths.

The UK has reported 3,081,368 COVID-19 cases and 81,567 deaths from the virus so far.

France has confirmed 2,840,864 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 67,885.

It is followed by Turkey with 22,807 deaths from 2,326,256 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 78,755 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,276,491.

A total of 2,050,360 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 51,874.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 1,929,410, with the number of deaths at 40,741, according to the JHU virus tracker.
