The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 1,935,613 with the global confirmed cases reaching 90,298,391 as of 4:21 pm BJT on Monday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 374,329 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 22,409,131.

India has confirmed a total number of infections to 10,466,595. The death toll grew to 151,160.

Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 8,105,790. The death toll grew to 203,100.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Russia have increased to 3,366,715 with 61,389 deaths.

It is followed by United Kingdom with 3,081,368 infections and 81,567 deaths, France with 2,840,864 infections and 67,885 deaths, Turkey with 2,326,256 cases and 22,807 deaths, Italy with 2,276,491 cases and 78,755 deaths and Spain with 2,050,360 cases and 51,874 deaths.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany have increased to 1,931,478 with 40,939 deaths.
