The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 1,963,554 with the global confirmed cases reaching 91,650,718 as of 5:30 pm BJT on Wednesday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 380,796 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 22,846,808, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 5:30 pm BJT on Wednesday.
India has confirmed a total number of infections to 10,495,147. The death toll grew to 151,529.
Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 8,195,637. The death toll grew to 204,690.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Russia have increased to 3,434,934 with 62,463 deaths.
It is followed by UK with 3,173,296 infections and 83,342 deaths, France with 2,864,360 infections and 68,939 deaths, Turkey with 2,346,285 cases and 23,152 deaths, Italy with 2,303,263 cases and 79,819 deaths and Spain with 2,137,220 cases and 52,683 deaths.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany have increased to 1,968,326 with 42,890 deaths.
