The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 4,125,614 with the global confirmed cases reaching 191,903,032 as of 9:00 am BJT on Thursday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 609,839 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 34,222,360 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 31,216,337 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 418,480.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 19,473,954 with 545,604 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,973,880 confirmed cases and 111,737 deaths.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 148,229 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,955,089.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 5,586,497, with the number of deaths at 129,182, according to the JHU virus tracker.
Turkey has confirmed 5,546,166 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 50,650.
It is followed by Argentina with 102,818 deaths from 4,798,851 infections.
Colombia has reported 4,679,994 COVID-19 cases and 117,482 deaths from the virus so far.
A total of 4,297,337 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 127,905.
