The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,550,383 with the global confirmed cases reaching 170,731,897 as of 5:30 pm BJT on Tuesday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported on Tuesday 5,177 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the tally in the Southeast Asian country to 1,235,467.
South Korea reported 459 more cases of COVID-19 as of midnight Monday compared to 24 hours ago, raising the total number of infections to 140,799.
Cambodia's COVID-19 cases has surged to 30,710 last Tuesday after 616 fresh infection cases were reported nationwide in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said in a statement.
