The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,796,088 with the global confirmed cases reaching 175,693,931 as of 7:00 pm BJT on Sunday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 597,377 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,457,424 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 29,439,989 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 370,384.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 17,374,818 with 486,272 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,799,459 confirmed cases and 110,540 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,325,435 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 48,668.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 124,314 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,148,499.
The UK'sconfirmedcases have increased to 4,574,445, with the number of deaths at 128,160, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 4,243,482 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 126,976.
It is followed by Argentina with 85,075 deaths from 4,111,147 infections.
Spain has reported 3,733,600 COVID-19 cases and 80,501 deaths from the virus so far.
