The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,808,775 with the global confirmed cases reaching 176,189,411 as of 9:00 am BJT on Tuesday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 599,965 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,473,091 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 29,510,410 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 374,305.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 17,452,612 with 488,228 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,803,003 confirmed cases and 110,616 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,336,073 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 48,795.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 124,681 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,162,049.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,589,398, with the number of deaths at 128,171, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 4,245,779 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 127,038.
Argentina has reported 4,145,482 COVID-19 cases and 86,029 deaths from the virus so far.
It is followed by Colombia with 96,366 deaths from 3,777,600 infections.
