The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,857,719 with the global confirmed cases reaching 178,119,063 as of 10:00 am BJT on Sunday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 601,721 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,536,904 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 29,823,546 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 385,137.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 17,883,750 with 500,800 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,817,272 confirmed cases and 110,886 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,365,208 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 49,122.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 126,761 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,237,847.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,636,990, with the number of deaths at 128,234, according to the JHU virus tracker.
Argentina has reported 4,258,394 COVID-19 cases and 88,742 deaths from the virus so far.
A total of 4,252,095 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 127,253.
It is followed by Colombia with 99,335 deaths from 3,917,348 infections.
