The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,730,065 with the global confirmed cases reaching 173,337,744 as of 7:30 pm BJT on Monday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 597,631 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,363,346 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 28,909,975 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 349,186.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 16,947,062 with 473,404 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,774,361 confirmed cases and 110,160 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,287,980 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 48,164.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 122,037 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,076,543.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,532,802, with the number of deaths at 128,103, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 4,232,428 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 126,523.
Argentina has reported 3,955,439 COVID-19 cases and 81,214 deaths from the virus so far.
It is followed by Germany with 89,249 deaths from 3,709,476 infections.
