The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,734,475 with the global confirmed cases reaching 173,536,534 as of 10:00 am BJT on Tuesday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

Brazil registered 1,010 more deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 474,414, the health ministry said on Monday.
Argentina reported 22,195 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 3,977,634, the Ministry of Health said Monday.
Iran reported on Monday 4,907 new COVID-19 cases, taking the country's total infections to 2,971,270.
Turkey on Monday reported 5,647 new COVID-19 cases, including 495 symptomatic patients, raising the total number in the country to 5,293,627, according to its health ministry.
The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 6,993 within one day to 1,863,031, with the death toll adding by 191 to 51,803, the health ministry said on Monday.
