Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Monday, there have been 119,220,681 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,642,826 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 542,727 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 29,873,772 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Monday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 11,483,370 with 278,229 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 11,385,339 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 158,725.

Russia has recorded 4,350,728 confirmed cases and 90,958 deaths.

The UK has reported 4,271,710 COVID-19 cases and 125,753 deaths from the virus so far.

France has confirmed 4,131,882 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 90,583.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 102,145 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 3,223,142.

A total of 3,183,704 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 72,258.

It is followed by Turkey with 29,489 deaths from 2,879,390 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,580,506, with the number of deaths at 73,463, according to the JHU virus tracker.
