Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Tuesday, there have been 119,791,453 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,652,966 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 543,491 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 29,928,729 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Tuesday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 11,519,609 with 279,286 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 11,409,831 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 158,856.

Russia has recorded 4,360,033 confirmed cases and 91,395 deaths.

The UK has reported 4,276,840 COVID-19 cases and 125,817 deaths from the virus so far.

France has confirmed 4,132,104 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 90,924.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 102,499 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 3,238,394.

A total of 3,195,062 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 72,424.

It is followed by Turkey with 29,552 deaths from 2,894,893 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,586,846, with the number of deaths at 73,702, according to the JHU virus tracker.
