Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Tuesday, there have been 113,820,168 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,527,891 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 522,368 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 29,140,916 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 11,124,527 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 157,248.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 10,587,001 with 255,720 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 4,220,291 confirmed cases and 85,458 deaths.

The UK has reported 4,194,289 COVID-19 cases and 123,187 deaths from the virus so far.

France has confirmed 3,820,369 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 86,955.

A total of 3,204,531 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 69,609.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 97,945 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,938,371.

It is followed by Turkey with 28,638 deaths from 2,711,479 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,456,456, with the number of deaths at 70,515, according to the JHU virus tracker.
