Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Friday, there have been 115,094,614 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 2,560,995 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 528,065 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 29,323,325 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Friday.

India has confirmed a total of 11,173,761 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 157,548.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 10,793,732 with 260,970 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has recorded 4,241,970 confirmed cases and 86,368 deaths.

The UK has reported 4,213,764 COVID-19 cases and 124,259 deaths from the virus so far.

France has confirmed 3,895,430 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 87,988.

A total of 3,142,358 people in Spain have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 70,501.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 98,974 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 2,999,119.

It is followed by Turkey with 28,839 deaths from 2,746,158 infections.

Germany's confirmed cases have increased to 2,484,306, with the number of deaths at 71,554, according to the JHU virus tracker.
