Globally, as of 3:02pm CET, 6 March 2021, there have been 115,653,459 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 2,571,823 deaths, reported to WHO. As of 7 March 2021, a total of 249,160,837 vaccine doses have been administered.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 524,262 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 28,949,455.

India has confirmed a total number of infections to 11,192,088. The death toll grew to 157,656.

Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 10,938,836 The death toll grew to 264,325.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Russia have increased to 4,263,785 with 87,253 deaths.

It is followed by UK with 4,225,906 infections and 124,654 deaths, France with 3,942,243 infections and 88,597 deaths, Spain with 3,149,012 cases and 71,138 deaths, Italy with 3,046,762 cases and 99,578 deaths and Turkey with 2,769,230 cases and 28,965 deaths.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany have increased to 2,502,163 with 71,899 deaths.
