The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 2,782,944 with the global confirmed cases reaching 127,092,284 as of 10:30 am BJT on Monday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 549,335 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 30,262,037 infections, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 10:30 am BJT on Monday.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 12,534,688 with 312,206 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
India has confirmed a total of 11,971,624 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 161,552.
France has recorded 4,606,185 confirmed cases and 94,754 deaths.
Russia has confirmed 4,469,327 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 96,123.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,347,013, with the number of deaths at 126,834, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 3,532,057 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 107,933.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 75,010 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 3,255,324.
It is followed by Turkey with 31,076 deaths from 3,208,173 infections.
Germany has reported 2,784,652 COVID-19 cases and 75,927 deaths from the virus so far.
