Globally, as of 1:30 pm CEST, 28 March 2021, there have been 126,359,540 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 2,769,473 deaths, reported to WHO. As of 24 March 2021, a total of 462,824,374 vaccine doses have been administered.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 549,335 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 30,262,380.

Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 12,534,688. The death toll grew to 312,206.

India has confirmed a total number of infections to 12,039,644. The death toll grew to 161,240.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in France have increased to 4,606,185 with 94,754 deaths.

It is followed by Russia with 4,469,327 infections and 96,123 deaths, UK with 4,347,014 infections and 126,834 deaths, Italy with 3,532,057 cases and 107,933 deaths, Spain with 3,255,324 cases and 75,010 deaths and Turkey with 3,208,173 cases and 31,076 deaths.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Germany have increased to 2,786,715 with 75,965 deaths.
