The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,529,577 with the global confirmed cases reaching 169,773,989 as of 10:00 am BJT on Sunday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 594,304 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,251,717 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 27,729,247 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 322,512.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 16,471,600 with 461,057 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,719,877 confirmed cases and 109,518 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,235,978 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 47,271.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 118,781 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 4,995,613.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,496,823, with the number of deaths at 128,037, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 4,213,055 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 126,002.
It is followed by Argentina with 77,108 deaths from 3,732,263 infections.
Germany has reported 3,684,672 COVID-19 cases and 88,379 deaths from the virus so far.
