The total number of deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide has increased to 3,537,835 with the global confirmed cases reaching 170,174,444 as of 10:00 am BJT on Monday, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The outbreak has now claimed 594,430 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 33,258,547 infections.
India has confirmed a total of 27,894,800 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 325,972.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 16,515,120 with 461,931 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
France has recorded 5,728,418 confirmed cases and 109,562 deaths.
Turkey has confirmed 5,242,911 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 47,405.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 119,130 lives in Russia, bringing the total number of infections to 5,005,171.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 4,499,934, with the number of deaths at 128,043, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 4,216,003 people in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 126,046.
It is followed by Argentina with 77,456 deaths from 3,753,609 infections.
Germany has reported 3,687,715 COVID-19 cases and 88,431 deaths from the virus so far.
