Globally, as of 6 pm BJT on Wednesday, there have been 3,557,235 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 245,150 deaths, reported the WHO.

The outbreak has now claimed at least 72,133 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 1,236,500 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6 pm BJT on Wednesday.
Spain has recorded 220,325 confirmed cases and 25,857 deaths.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed over 29,000 lives in Italy, bringing the total number of infections to 213,013.
The UK's confirmed cases have increased to 196,243, with the number of deaths at 29,501, according to the JHU virus tracker.
A total of 170,694 people in France have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 25,538.
It is followed by Germany with 6,993 deaths from 167,007 infections.
Russia has confirmed 165,929 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 1,537.
Turkey has confirmed a total of 129,491 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 3,520.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 115,953 with 7,958 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.
Iran has reported 101,650 COVID-19 cases and 6,418 deaths from the virus so far.
