Globally, as of 7 pm BJT on Sunday, there have been 57,639,631 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,373,294 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 260,658 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 12,271,402 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 7 pm BJT on Sunday.

India has confirmed a total of 9,095,806 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 133,227.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 6,052,786 with 168,989 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

France has recorded 2,178,023 confirmed cases and 48,593 deaths.

Russia has confirmed 2,071,858 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 35,838.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 42,619 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 1,556,730.

The UK has reported 1,497,135 COVID-19 cases and 54,721 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Italy with 49,261 deaths from 1,380,531 infections.

A total of 1,366,182 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 36,902.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 1,240,493, with the number of deaths at 35,104, according to the JHU virus tracker.
