Globally, as of 6:30 pm BJT on Monday, there have been 37,326,080 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1,073,973 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 218,964 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 7,918,601 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 6:30 pm BJT on Monday.

India has confirmed a total of 7,120,538 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 109,150.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 5,094,979 with 150,488 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 1,305,093 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 22,594.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 911,317, with the number of deaths at 27,834, according to the JHU virus tracker.

A total of 894,206 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 23,868.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 32,929 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 861,112.

Peru has reported 849,371 COVID-19 cases and 33,009 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Mexico with 83,781 deaths from 817,503 infections.

France has recorded 775,431 confirmed cases and 32,701 deaths.
