Globally, as of 7:30 pm BJT on Tuesday, there have been 25,298,875 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 847,602 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 186,898 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 6,161,105 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 7:30 pm BJT on Tuesday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 3,908,272 with 121,381 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 3,691,166 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 65,288.

Russia has confirmed 997,072 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 17,250.

Peru has reported 647,166 COVID-19 cases and 28,788 deaths from the virus so far.

South Africa has recorded 627,041 confirmed cases and 14,149 deaths.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 614,669, with the number of deaths at 19,640, according to the JHU virus tracker.

It is followed by Mexico with 64,414 deaths from 599,560 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 29,094 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 462,858.

A total of 417,735 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 8,660.
