Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Thursday, there have been 31,425,029 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 967,164 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 205,805 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 7,075,091 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Thursday.

India has confirmed a total of 5,646,010 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 90,020.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 4,591,364 with 138,105 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 1,117,487 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 19,720.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 784,268, with the number of deaths at 24,746, according to the JHU virus tracker.

Peru has reported 776,546 COVID-19 cases and 31,568 deaths from the virus so far.

It is followed by Mexico with 74,949 deaths from 710,049 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 31,034 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 693,556.

South Africa has recorded 665,188 confirmed cases and 16,206 deaths.

A total of 664,799 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 14,376.
