Globally, as of 1:08 pm CEST on Sunday, there have been 32,730,945 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 991,224 deaths, reported to WHO.

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of at least 204,758 people in the US, the most of any country. The US also leads the world in the number of confirmed infections with 7,115,338, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University as of 3:23 pm BJT on Monday.

India has confirmed a total number of infections to 6,074,702. The death toll grew to 95,542.

Brazil has confirmed a total number of infections to 4,732,309. The death toll grew to 141,741.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Russia have increased to 1,146,273 with 20,239 deaths.

It is followed by Colombia with 813,056 infections and 25,488 deaths, Peru with 800,142 infections and 32,142 deaths, Mexico with 730,317 cases and 76,430 deaths, Spain with 716,481 cases and 31,232 deaths and Argentina with 711,325 cases and 15,749 deaths.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Africa have increased to 670,766 with 16,398 deaths.
