Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday, there have been 33,034,598 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 996,342 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 209,094 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 7,292,000 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 6,074,702 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 95,542.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 4,745,464 with 142,058 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 1,154,299 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 20,299.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 818,203, with the number of deaths at 25,641, according to the JHU virus tracker.

Peru has reported 805,302 COVID-19 cases and 32,262 deaths from the virus so far.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 31,411 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 748,266.

It is followed by Mexico with 76,430 deaths from 730,317 infections.

A total of 723,132 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 16,113.

South Africa has recorded 671,669 confirmed cases and 16,586 deaths.
