Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Monday, there have been 26,763,217 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 876,616 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 192,271 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 6,412,391 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Monday.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 4,137,521 with 126,650 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

India has confirmed a total of 4,113,811 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 70,626.

Russia has confirmed 1,022,228 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 17,768.

Peru has reported 683,702 COVID-19 cases and 29,687 deaths from the virus so far.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 658,456, with the number of deaths at 21,156, according to the JHU virus tracker.

South Africa has recorded 638,517 confirmed cases and 14,889 deaths.

It is followed by Mexico with 67,558 deaths from 634,023 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 29,418 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 498,989.

A total of 478,792 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 9,859.
