Globally, as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday, there have been 27,032,617 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 881,464 deaths, reported the World Health Organization.

The outbreak has now claimed 192,640 lives in the US, the most of any country, with a total of 6,431,277 infections, according to a tally by the 1Point3Acres virus tracker as of 10 am BJT on Tuesday.

India has confirmed a total of 4,204,613 COVID-19 cases, raising the number of deaths to 71,642.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Brazil have increased to 4,147,794 with 126,960 deaths, Johns Hopkins reported.

Russia has confirmed 1,027,334 cases of COVID-19, with the number of deaths at 17,818.

Peru has reported 689,977 COVID-19 cases and 29,838 deaths from the virus so far.

Colombia's confirmed cases have increased to 666,521, with the number of deaths at 21,412, according to the JHU virus tracker.

South Africa has recorded 639,362 confirmed cases and 15,004 deaths.

It is followed by Mexico with 67,781 deaths from 637,509 infections.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 29,516 lives in Spain, bringing the total number of infections to 525,549.

A total of 488,007 people in Argentina have tested positive for COVID-19, with the death toll at 10,129.
