Thursday’s talk, the two leaders are expected to discuss more about removing nuclear weapons from the Korean Peninsula compared to last night’s one-on-one talks and the “social dinner”, as called by the BBC.

Trump posted a tweet of his expectations for the second day’s talk after his dinner with Kim on Wednesday night. “Great meetings and dinner tonight in Vietnam with Kim Jong-un of North Korea. Very good dialogue. Resuming tomorrow,” Trump wrote.

Today’s agenda for the two leaders will be a series of meetings at the Metropole which will begin with another one-on-one session lasting 45 minutes, according to the White House. After that Trump and Kim will meet with officials and have lunch together at 11:55 am.

In the afternoon, a “joint agreement signing ceremony” will be held and Trump is scheduled to give a press conference at around 3:50 pm according to Vietnam News Agency, similar to what he did in Singapore last year. However, no one knows what the joint agreement will include for now, although there have been working level talks between North Korea and the US in recent weeks.
