Washington (People's Daily) - Brett Kavanaugh, US President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, appeared for the second day before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. 

Members of the committee have 30 minutes each to question the nominee on his record. 

During the hearing, Senate Democrats grilled the conservative nominee on abortion, gun laws, and his role in programs implemented after 9/11 under the Bush administration.
