LONDON, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Two people were arrested on Tuesday afternoon following 10 people, including a pregnant woman and two children, were discovered inside a lorry in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, in England.

Of the two arrested, one was nabbed on suspicion of assisting unlawful immigration and the other for suspected firearms offences.

Local police were called at 1420 GMT as the group of people were reportedly travelling westbound in a lorry on the A14 highway.

The lorry was stopped at the Shell garage in Godmanchester.

British police said immigration services have been notified and a probe is under way.

The East of England Ambulance Service said none of those within the lorry were taken to hospital but crews remain on the scene.

On Oct. 23, 39 Vietnamese nationals were found dead in a refrigerated lorry in Grays, Essex, in southeast England.
