SAN FRANCISCO, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Jay Inslee, governor of the US state of Washington, announced additional guidance related to the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" proclamation on Saturday to slow the spread of COVID-19.

According to the guidance, funerals are only attended by immediate family members of the deceased and they must maintain proper social distancing -- six feet apart.

Under the guidance on real estate transactions, in-person meetings with customers are prohibited except when necessary for a customer to view a property or sign necessary documents with the limitation of no more than two people on site at a time. No real estate open houses shall be permitted and all new real estate listings shall be facilitated remotely.

Inslee also sent a letter to Washington's tribal communities, which reads that "none of my Emergency Proclamation orders apply to conduct on tribal lands. Tribal governments, as sovereign nations, are making their own decisions in response to the current COVID-19 emergency."

Inslee made a televised speech earlier on Monday to announce the statewide order that required everyone in the state to stay home. The order would last for two weeks and could be extended.

The state Department of Health on Friday confirmed 3,723 cases, including 175 deaths in the state of Washington.
