A group of Chinese youths visited the Ocean All-Russia Children's Care Center in Vladivostok on September 9.
Most of them are from Sichuan Province where a massive earthquake hit in 2008.
After the devastating earthquake, Russia raced against the clock to extend a helping hand. The then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev invited 1,500 children from disaster-hit areas to rehabilitate in Russia.
During the three-week rehabilitation program, most of the Chinese teenagers got over their grief and trauma.
Ten years later, the boys and girls grew up. Some of them graduated from university and got decent jobs, while others continued to study.
They are showing glowing with their positive outlook on life.
They came back and expressed their gratitude for the kindness they can't forget. "I always want to say thank you. here is my Russian home," said the youths as one when talking with People's Daily.
They tell a moving story of friendship between China and Russia.
