The Sino-Vietnamese youth reading roundtable began in Hanoi, Vietnamese on Tuesday ahead of next week’s World Book Day.

Dozens of teenagers from China and Vietnam were encouraged to exchange ideas after reading books on friendship between former leaders of the two countries.

“By reading the books, the teenagers can inherit and promote Sino- Vietnamese friendship”, Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said.

The exchange is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the China Culture Center in Hanoi.
